Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country on Balkan peninsula of Southern Europe. Bordered by Croatia to the north, west and south, Serbia to the east, and Montenegro to the south, Bosnia and Herzegovina is landlocked, except for 20 km od the Adriatic Sea coastline.

Population:
4,498,976 inhabitants. The country is a home of three ethnic "constituent peoples" (Bosniaks 48%, Serbs 37,1% and Croats 14,3%). Bosniak has replaced Muslim as an ethnic term in part to avoid confusion with the religious term Muslim - an adherent of Islam
